I read somewhere, by one of his solo band members that had said "when Jerry smiles at you during a gig, when you've done something new he likes, you feel like 'Man, I've made it. This is the top of Everest right here. I can do no more better than this.'"
That's a paraphrase, but that's how I feel even when listening to the man. Thank you. I wish I had seen him too. I could have. Had many opportunities, but always told myself...I'll catch him the next time.
